Music Lessons

We make music lessons FUN! Students ages 5+ will learn to have a creative outlet and fun hobby that they can use on their own or with friends/family for decades! Choose "Private" for one-on-one music lessons or choose "Semi-Private" to share a lesson with a friend or sibling. We offer lessons to adults too!

Our adaptive music lessons are geared toward individuals who are neurodivergent. This is for students of all ages with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and more. These lessons are taught by music therapists, music therapy interns, or students currently enrolled in a music therapy degree program. They have extensive musical backgrounds and experience working with a variety of different disabilities and learning styles. They have the training and background in adapting their teaching styles to best fit the needs of the individual. Our unique approach is to teach music lessons that encourage students to have a creative outlet and fun hobby that they can use on their own or with friends/family for decades!


Music Therapy

Music therapy is the therapeutic use of music to help people achieve specific goals. A board-certified music therapist can help people learn coping skills, improve cognitive skills, decrease symptoms of anxiety & depression, increase socialization, and more! As a client, no music skills are necessary. Music therapy can be a fun, engaging, and unique approach to meeting your goals!


Art Therapy (Private Pay)

A licensed art therapist uses the creative art process to help you increase self-expression, social skills, coping strategies, emotional intelligence, cognitive skills, & more.


Epilepsy Music/Art Therapy

This is a FREE 6-week appointment series funded by Epilepsy Wellness Advocates for clients of all ages with epilepsy. Appointments are one-on-one with a music or art therapist. Sessions are held in our office or via telehealth. If you do not see an appointment time that works for you, please contact us and we will work with your schedule!


Existing Customer Make-Up Appointments

This service is for existing customers to reschedule a make-up appointment with their current therapist/instructor. Make-ups must be done in accordance with Wellness Creative's Make-Up Policy (found in your client portal under "Intake Forms") and are subject to cancellation if you have exceeded your allowed number of make-ups or you are a new customer.


Support Groups

Our support groups are FREE and a way for others to gather together in an encouraging environment. It takes a village!

Erin is our clinical director, as well as a master’s level music therapist and instructor. She has worked with children for almost two decades, but also has a wealth of experience with teens, adults, and older adults. Her clinical expertise is in mental health, addressing stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma across the lifespan. Her research focus is on music’s ability to help with grief, and she has taught music therapy courses at the University of Kentucky.

She is a board-certified music therapist who holds a bachelor’s degree in music therapy from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in music therapy from the University of Kentucky. She has an additional certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Music Therapy (NICU-MT).

Amber completed her internship training at UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY, providing medical music therapy to pediatrics. She has worked with students with disabilities in the schools for over 8 years, helping them achieve IEP goals through music therapy.
